Mobile phone insurance

Can anyone recommend a non-ripoff insurance provider who can offer protection for an iPhone 3GS against the danger, difficulty and peril that is the every day life of a female?
 
Don't get separate phone insurance - it's the most expensive way to insure a phone. Rely on your contents insurance (you may need to upgrade it slightly to include phones) or upgrade her bank account so that it includes phone insurance.
 
JSInsurance do full cover for six quid a month and they replaced my milestone without hassle, although it took them a month as they had to try and get repair parts from the US as it is an uncommon phone. I would not expect this to be an issue for an iphone where spares such as screens will probably be kept in stock for a fast turnaround.

It was as they were sourcing parts for the screen from the US. I find it acceptable that they would try and repair it first, and the parts are only available in America, often with some lead time.
 
my partner and i have a joint llolyds bank, and pay £7 a month, (£3.50 each) we both get mobile cover, breakdown and travel insurance, a bargain if you ask me
 
Call your house insurance, it cost me £12 a year for my iPhone 4, against £15 a month insured with 02.

Halifax and Natwest both do pretty much the same. Halifax is more complicated as you pay more, but then get £5 a month back - but basically it's the same.

It's worth it for the mobile and breakdown cover alone.
 
Will contents insurance cover the cost of calls if the phone is nicked and a sizable bill is run-up before the account is disabled?

yeah cracking deal for me and the wife to be.. £84 per year

Me and the misses bother covered in any car we drive
both my htc desire and her phone covered
travel insurance and free money withdrawal
plus other bits and bobs...

so £42 each per year, very happy!
