Any thoughts on what you think should be changed?

It's tight on that budget.

I wouldn't trust the PSU in that case though!

Maybe go for a smaller, cheaper monitor and 2 gig of ram to save a few ££££'s

Edit : Don't forget Free shipping !

She wants a 22" (as her mother has got one)

I am keen on 4 Gig of Ram as that allows her to run many things at once with ease, she does tend to open quite a lot of things at once and I want to keep it that way.

Interesting comments about the case/psu. I understand the use of good psus for overclocked systems and with good graphics card but surely the PSU should be able to run the components in there with ease, shouldn't it?

It should be fine. There was a thread a few days or a week ago with someone giving off about the cheap PSUs being stocked and some of the employees posted that they've tested the PSUs extensively and wouldn't stock them if they thought they were duff.

I was going to suggest dropping the ram to something a bit slower because its not going to make much difference with a Pentium Dual Core CPU but that is a cracking deal for 4Gb Ram.

"Primo Drone" AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 245 2.90GHz DDR2 System

looks nice and cheap... easier than putting one together yourself....

THanks, the only reason why I prefer to do it myself its because you get the individual warranty for each component and I also save a fiver or so!. I can appreciate the AMD is a bit cheaper though, is it slower?

I would go for a amd athlon system over a intel dual core...but the rest looks fine.

Any reason why to go to AMD? I can see I can save around £15 to £20 but is it worth it?
