So on Friday I ordered the Ion Drum Rocker for xbox 360 off of a well known etailer.

On their site they do not even stock the playstation 3 model.

Dispatched on Monday, arrives Today. Open it up, guess what, the playstation drum module?

How can they make that sort of a mistake if they do not even stock the ps3 version.

The box itself is massive, I sent the etailer an email saying they'd made a mistake, but because all the parts inside are all boxed up individualy (pads, cymbals, stand, module etc) I asked if I could send back just the playstation module and get the xbox 360 one sent to me.

Reckon they'll let me just swap the module or make me send the whole thing back.

So ****ed off was excited all weekend probably going to have to wait till next monday/tuesday before I get it. I paid for express delivery as well!

Angry is an understatement!

Just found it on this etailer site, it's one of those things where the site itself doesn't actually have it in stock but is the middleman gets it from another shop and dispatches it.

Turns out this shop is a real proper shop called JB's music store.

I live in essex they are in Kent so my brother reckons he'll drive down tomorrow while I'm at work.

Oh the etailer begins with an A.

Is it Amazon?

Quite often driving down to a shop in person won't do any good. The web arms are often entirely separate.

Amazon Marketplace? you do know that Amazon and Amazon marketplace are two entirely different "retailers"?

Amazon marketplace is basically Ebay, but Buy-It-Now for everything.

Yes it is, thought naming competitors is against the rules etc etc.

Well it's a proper shop like a shop you can walk in. Just seems it extends to the internet.

It was delivered to my brother anyway because I was at work all day but the invoice address has my name + address.

I've given him all my e-mails with order confirmation.

He's going to ring them up in the morning asking them what to do and if they allow it he'll go down there in person. Haha I have a good brother :).

There always seems to be a direct correlation between how much you want something, and how likely you are not to receive it on time or working.

Love my brother,

He rang them up in the morning and explained it all.

They instead of swapping the drum module, just gave us the xbox 360 module! And let us keep the playstation one, I think they cost 60 quid new!

So my brother will sell it and use it as petrol money.

They're a quality legit store :).

Too shy to ring yourself?

I was at work. I tried ringing them when I was at home but it was past 5 o clock so no answer. and I'm up at quarter to 7 for work so don't really think they'll be there then either.

and about it being 241 quid yeah it's a lot for a game, but i've gone through 2 drum kits in about 6 months, GH:WT one which costs 80 quid to replace and a RB2 kit which you can't be seperate here in the UK unless you buy the whole band bundle. So I thought I'd buy the best one you can get for it because they are very durable according to reviews. but I love it and you can plug it all into a real e-drum brain and use it as a real drum kit too so worth the money, for me anyway.
