Exactly, and that level is based on what could be considered reasonable under the perceived circumstances of the person who is being attacked/defending themselves (or others).
If in hindsite it turns out to have been possibly more than was required, you're still usually ok, as long as the force used at the time was "reasonable" for what you could reasonable have thought the situation was.


Back on topic...I'm surprised the media isn't playing it as a "Video games cause violence" thing;)

Ofcourse not. You can only get the death penalty in the states for murder and some violent crimes and only in Texas is the death penalty still frequently used.

Why do people think that the states judicial system have everything so right? It's a mess far bigger then ours. Capital punishment violates our human rights.

Speaking of human rights, do you know how many countries still haven't ratified the United Nations Conventions on Human Rights of the Child?

Most "gamers" use cheap, tacky, plastic keyboards with LEDs and LCD screens. Using one as a weapon would be useless. However, if they'd been using Filcos or other mechanical switch keyboards, they'd have probably killed the guys if they'd hit them with those.

Im pleased they stuck up for themselves! Although as others have said sometimes retaliation is not the best idea when it comes to robbery. Too many end in gun shots and murders.

The counter guy took the punches like a pro though! The guys defence stats have just tripled. He must have been raid buffed..... *gets coat*
