In order to keep bringing you our customers fantastic deals across our whole range we have launched a slightly updated *NEW* front page to our website. The two main changes are that latest news is now to the right with a small thumbnail image and where latest news used to be we now have Today Only - incredible deals each day on two selected products.

The criteria for the deals will be:-

  • Only a set amount of units available at offer price which is clearly displayed and counts down
  • Each deal only live for 24hrs or whilst stocks last (updated at 10am every morning)
  • No deal will be repeated within a 10 day period, and some may never get repeated
  • Some deals won't allow forum members to use free shipping, but we shall clearly show this in the Deals4Today announcements. As it stands both of today's deals you can use Free Shipping
  • Only 1 per order


The good news is OcUK is bringing you even more deals and now on a daily basis. So you get This Week Only deals plus two incredible deals everyday at 10am. Always be sure to check the site at 10am as the number available on offer could be as low as 3 units which may mean some lines could sell out within 15 minutes of launching.

Give us feedback on what you think and the new site should be viewed at resolution of 1280x1024 or higher, so if your having issues increase your resolution or maybe consider upgrading.

Can I ask - why are some of the deals not going to have the "Free Shipping" forum Brucie bonus on them?
 
That is pretty cool. Potential lack of free shipping is a bit of a bum deal but if the deal is good enough you are easily compensated!

Yes of course you can ask. Some of the deals will be stupid or even below our cost so shipping has to be added. But with shipping added our prices will still be about the best if not the best and then remember you can just add more items to the order or just tag a Deals4Today product with your order. :)

If we add other items to our basket do we lose the free shipping on the whole basket?
 
Nice idea, poorly implemented.

Deals4Today

A) is in green and looks horrible
b) is in text speak, spits at ocuk in disgust. That really does look naff and lowers they way I and probably many others view the page. It now reminds me of some cheap possibly dodgy mobile phone website. Offering 6million and one offers.

Why not use the same blue and red in the Ocuk Logo rather than yellow and green. yellow only works as you have the corsair TX in yellow as well, but I don't think you always use yellow there.

Overly marked up rounded corners on those boxes too. Square corner boxes are for people without CSS3 compliant browsers. That is their punishment. Plus its so much better to not have a tonne of unnecessary mark-up.

What on Earth is wrong with the word 'For'.
This awful text speak actually puts me off using websites as it comes across extremely unprofessional, tacky and juvenile.

Would someone please explain this?

I agree with this, great idea (confirmed by a couple of people who have bought the SSD already) but it looks a bit unprofessional compared to the rest of OcUK. Needs an overhaul to be honest it looks very tacked on.
