Family tree - people who do it for you?

Im not in the UK, so its hard to get around and dig up information from parish and other records.

However, from watching the TV shows, who do you think you are, id love to get someone who knows what they are doing to do it, even if its only one or two Generations back, it would be such a big thing for me to know.

Anyone ever had someone find this information out them selfs, ive gone through mums, dads, uncles ect and got to the point where its just hersay.

I'm fortunate, we have a local records deposit that does a family tree (if you're local) for £8!
