Which way to Grangemouth from Wakefield pulling weight?

Morning Guys!

I made it! :D

Got to West mains @ 09:15 - within the 30minute booking window that were allowed - The run across the A66 was great, barely nothing else on the road. Got overtaken by an e60 M5 that seemed to be doing warp 9 when I was about 6 miles from Penrith, as I pulled into the last layby prior to the M6 at Penrith there was said M5 with a Police e60, I wonder if they were comparing vehicles after a chase?

The A80 prior to the M876 was a real pig, the route is upgrading to Motorway so that delayed me a bit, not much.

Got up @2AM, collected my load around 02:20 and left Wakefield at approx 02:50 not too bad I guess. :D

Where u heading next fella?

Westfield, Cumbarnauld, Lanarkshire to collect a load for 09:30 tomorrow morning delivery in Tyseley, Birmingham. Piece of cake (famous last words.....:D)

I think you should set up a google latitude when you're driving the trucks so that we can see in real time where in the world you are

Just don't make any online enemies ¬_¬
I doubt the 3GB allowance on my dongle would like that too much.....

Write something to take your GPS location and tweet it, that's quite bandwidth friendly.

Would that not need some kind of GPS device such as a Sat-Nav? - (spits on floor) - I don't use them, more trouble than there worth with an artic in my experience.

Come to think about it, I don't Twitter either.... :o

Come on Asda! I've been here over an hour and they have not even started to unload me yet....

Browsing time! :D

You could do it with a little USB dongle, that way you don't have tom tom shouting at you. Just think, you could have OcUKers buzzing round you all day.

A1 all the way to edinburgh.

go right round the city bypass and join the m8 then m9

That takes you right to grangemouth

*chortles at the idea of talking to truckers on twitter like its a CB radio*

@R420LA6X2/4MNA 10-4 good buddy.

:D

Its an interesting idea...

"Roger dodge" as a lot of CB truckers would say.....

Yes but will it munch into my somewhat limited 3GB usage limit?

A bit late, but thanks for the tip.

Trouble with that route is by HGV it would take 7 - 8 hours, one of the guys loading with me this morning was off to Berwick on Tweed and said as much...
