I hate that moment post conversation/argument/negotiation...where you think up a perfect comment/reason/sentence that would have aided your position tremendously.

I just had one, not that i think it would have made much difference to the outcome, in a salary negotiation. I now need to wait a year before the next time I have such a conversation and will prepare better next time!!

The "why did I say that?!" moment is worse :o.

Always having these moments at work. I even managed to send an instant message to my old boss calling him a **** after a meeting. I couldn't recall typing it, but there it was popped up on my screen followed by "sorry?". I apologised and said it was meant for a colleague I knew he disliked.

At a friend's pre-going out the other day, playing some quiz game thing with two of her housemates. The one I was with was reading a question for the other two, when I absent-mindedly corrected something she'd said (can't remember what).

Anyway, it then clicked that she has a speech impediment, which was why she'd said it wrongly :o. Not some crazy stammer, just some like rolling r's, I think (again, can't remember what ).

Hell awaits you!!!

Watching some TV show at a party and yelled "No one likes her because she's fat!" with a rather rotund lady right behind me. I was a little drunk.

Good recovery, from an awful situation.
