I was looking at buying the H50, most of the clan guys have one etc etc... I looked at it from all points of view..... but tbh i know the reviews have been outstanding on it but to me it looks awful.... I know your going to slate me for picking looks over tried and tested items.... but meh, its down to personal preference end of the day.... Anyway I started to look round and of course came across the coolIT's... i was going to buy the £55 version but due to OCUK being out of stock came across this:

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-001-CI

After reading some really good reviews and telling my self i previously saved £40 on the i7 chip because i managed to get one for £185 OEM.... I thought sod it i'l treat my self!

So i've bought and will be fitting it next week in my TJ07, rampage 2 mobo and i7 system.......Any1 else got one of these? Any good?

I just looked at the reviews and it seems the Noctua NH-D14 cools better for almost half the price. Also the new Corsair coming could be even better.

As long as your happy with it though :)

Its good & will keep things cool, however the H50 is mainly good because of its price/performance ratio. IMO the vantage is overpriced, there are air coolers that perform better & are way cheaper. Like this one:

The 2 fans supplied are very quiet and it performs on par with the H50/vantage. The only downfall is the size when compared to these all in one kits. If size isn't an issue then air cooling is a better option.

Yes good reasons but in my mind its good because you have not got a huge air cooler hanging off your board which is so so yesterday as far as um concerned :D

Its great to have all that extra space within the machine:)

Mind you I would have personally waited on the new H70 which is meant to drop temps around a massive 10c! I`ll be purchasing one in replacement for my H50 when they are in stock!

Hey Guys,

Mr. Goon - congrats!

You'll get to 4Ghz w/ Vantage np. There is a spacer on the back you can replace with another fan as well if you want to go further.

Vantage is a little more expensive because we have added the LCD, fan controller and embedded wireless module that will let it talk to our upcoming "Maestro" fan / light control system. All sexy upgrades no other cooler offers :)

Ok, i'll stop selling now ;) Enjoy your cooler, I'll look forward to the build log. If you need to reach me its barry.reicker at coolitsystems.com

Good purchase, I bought the ECO and really rate the build quality and easy of fitting so Im sure you'll see similar with the your coolit product....

My word i've just watched your video.... i am so so happy i bought this!! the build in wireless control panel sounds outstanding!

Will that be free update?

Maestro will be Maestro.. if you want the software control of your other chassis fans and the RGB led's we'll provide then you'll need to buy it anyways.

BUT

If you already have a Vantage it will also integrate into your Maestro and you'll gain wireless control over that as well. So, yes its a free upgrade to your Vantage (improves its functionality) but you'll still need to buy Maestro. Trust me, its really awesome and you'll want to have it anyways.. i'll do a video on that soon. Maestro will probably go for around 60 GBP. MSRP will be 89 USD I think.

Have a fun!

ps. please do a review on the product page, give it a rating and your thoughts so others get a feel for what it is.

re:

Why on earth are they using a push fan as exhaust to push warm air out through the radiator  how can that be beneficial

Some do for better overall system temps, honestly its like 1/2 c difference being intake/exhaust, but can make a big diff in system temps. It takes testing per individual setup.

The fan can be changed to blow whichever direction you prefer but we feel exhaust is a more responsible configuration for out of the box because the cooler is replacing an exhaust fan.

If you had a chassis w/ only one exhaust fan and you take it off and put on an intake thats blowing hot air into your system, that hot air isn't going to be able to get out and you'll heat up everything else.
