What would you take on a holiday

I find a laptop invaluable for booking the next nights accommodation, or finding stuff in the local area etc. Wouldn't go without one.

I usually find the local internet cafe, or use my phone.

I would say camera, portable speakers and Tea but you aren't leaving the country so might not need the tea.

Yea that's better than just using your laptop on hotel WiFi

It might be if you're a) not staying in a hotel with WiFi (which may or may not be free either) and b) trying to travel light or c) worried about losing it/getting it stolen.

Clothes (take more than you think you need)
Deodorant
Aftershave
Toothpaste
Toothbrush
Mouthwash
Gum
Shower Gel
Shampoo/Conditioner
Hair Gel/Wax
Hairspray
Shaver
Shaving Gel/Cream
Toilet Rolls
Towels (more than you think you need)
Wet Wipes/Face Wipes

Laptop & Charger
Wallet with cash as well as plastic

Cant think of anything else at the moment.

So I guess the point is don't take a laptop if you are absent minded but otherwise they can be very handy. The car carries the bag, if you even keep it in its own special bag that is.

Smokes, Beers, Papers, other Smokes, Lighters, Clothes, Phone, Sunglasses, Raincoat, Wellies, Phone Charger, Pancake, Coinage, Toiletries and Food (depending on the local shops).

Or, don't take a laptop if you don't want to take a laptop... :)
