Agree entirely Tefal. It isn't something I would do unless I could move like Agent Smith mate.
Would your knees even take it ?

Traffic cops even less as far as I am concerned. They are below street sweepers in the pecking order. They contribute NOTHING to society.
Beat cops however, wow, total respect. Tough job, but these doughnut monkeys sat in cars are about as useful as a bikini in Greenland.

Not sure why the chap in yellow had to go quite as mad as he did, almost took out his colleague at one point. I'd be pretty miffed I got hit by a glass covered baton and be tempted to complain myself. Two of those coppers definitely got a bit over excited there.
not read the thread then ?
The more I read, the more ridiculous the stupid polices behaviour is.
you clearly didnt 'read' enough before you started your torrent of abuse on the police.
to sum it up in simple terms (as you seem not to understand basic concepts - perhaps again becuase your to busy spreading police hate propaganda BS.) - he tried 'whether accidently or not - doesnt matter' to run one of the police officers over, the resulting police action WAS justified once you have taken all the given circumstances into account.
the driver is clearly inept on a multitude of levels.
it is entirely normal for police officers to be suspended from duty pending a IPCC enquiry.
If the enquiry finds them innocent they will be re-instated.
Stop reading into things that because they have been suspended they have already been found guilty of misconduct. They havent.
lol ? have you read any of this thread. He's known to police for being argumentative and obstructive and hostile to police before. He nearly ran one of them over, failed to stop twice and was on the run for over 17 minutes.
He'd already been stopped and drove off prior to this, smashing the windows to stop him doing it again is entirely normal !! the windscreen was smashed to obscure his vision and stop him being able to drive. It totally is normal in circumstances like this.
Scaring people to follow laws, hold up we do live in a democracy dont we?
The more I read, the more ridiculous the stupid polices behaviour is.
Its incidents like this that lead to people in need of REAL help with burgulars being told "sorry, we cant send anyone round, we are currently smashing some guys car in becuse he didnt stop for officer Tiddles and Officer Porky"
Its jaw dropppingly disgusting and shambolic. The two cretins involved should be barred from the force for life.
For the "the old mans a CRIMINAL" brigade, he failed to stop and was guilty of a MINOR motoring offence. Get over it.
That sort of reaction I would expect to see from them trying to stop an ARMED DRUG DEALER FFS, or a terror suspect.
A clear case of the their own self importance going right to their arrogant little heads.
I have no problems with Police smashing things in, but when its APPROPRIATE, not for some pathetic "chase".
Whats wrong with following him home and having a word there? They HAD to smash his car in did they?? They had no other choice to get this HARDENED, DANGEROUS, and life threatening criminal off the streets?! LOL, its pathetic.
I cant watch that video anymore, it just makes me more and more angry every time I see it.
Funny how people wonder why the Plod get such little respect in this country.

How was it even fractionally justified?
They could have just followed him home, or until he stopped.
Why the need to go rambo ?
Utterly pointless. He wasnt a threat to them, he was sat in his car, calmly, while Officers Tiddles and Porky went psyco.
If he was known to the Police already, why not just send two REAL police officers round to his house?
What a lot of nonsense about trying to run an officer over. I have to lol at this. If this was true, he would have been brought before the courts on attempted murder, or attempted GBH/ABH charge.
You then say, "Whats wrong with following him home and having a word there?". So, people that are in real need of help need to wait because two coppers should follow a bloke home and have a word there? What if they didn't know where his home was? Follow him up to Scotland? You can't have it both ways.
What is disgusting and shambolic is that someone can have the gall to try and run over a police officer, or any other human. It's assault with a deadly weapon, it's sickening. This man should be banned from driving for life.
A man flees from the scene of a crime, and doesn't stop. The police has NO idea what they were dealing with. This man could be a gangster, armed, violent, unpredictable. They had to protect themselves and the public. Dealing out quick action such as they did to restrain the man and prevent him causing injury to the officers, the public or himself.
If this man carried on and drove into someone walking along the road, or ploughed into a smaller car and caused injury then you'd be here blaming the police for doing nothing but following him home.
When is it appropriate? After he's shot someone? Ran someone over? Come now.
They get plenty of respect from me. They do a hard, challenging job.
I suspect the ladies quite enjoy donning their bikinis and enjoying the sunshine.
