...else your car will smell like the inside of a cheap wine bar in the morning.

FS, didnt even think of it when I left em. Nondescript shopping trip yesterday, left 2 bottles for the in-laws in the boot to take today. Car boot now soaking wet, and the whole interior smells rank. Damn heat must have made them pop :mad:.

/Cool story bro.
 
All you'd see would be a 156 boot, a pram, 2 bottles of (empty) Mateus Rose, a warning triangle and a soaking wet boot liner.

Oh and 2 corks, well 1, not found the other one yet.
 
Sprinkle very liberally with bicarbonate of soda and the smell will go much quicker - then after a day or two you can vacuum the boot out and car should smell better
 
I smashed a bottle of white in the back after I got back from France. Smelt a bit fruity for about a week but after that it was fine thankfully!
 
Or use a Vax.

I had a bottle of cobra burst in my passenger footwell. :(

Drove straight to my parents house to use their vax to give it a deep clean.
 
Aye I know, for a reason ;)

My dad's been in 2 serious accidents, and both times there was wine in the boot..
Maybe it's a sign :p
 
At least it's not gear oil or milk. THEN it would stink :p

Edit: cheap wine bar makes me think of *****. I might quite like that :)
 
best i did was a few cans of spray paint (im a tagger 'init!), they all burst after a typically agressive drive the subwoofer (essential when tagging) squashed them all and they repainted my boot silver, blue and gold, actually looked quite nice! :p
