New virgin card

The Virgin cards have been hacked for years. I assume the new cards add additional encryption around the data held on the card.
 
well apparently from reading other forums Nagra 3 has been out for a couple of years and in that time no one has broken its encryption.

Thats not to say they wont crack it but Virgin must have seen a huge flux of upgrades.
 
New smart cards are needed for the nagra 3 rollout. This stops thieving tards hacking boxes and getting cable for free. It's not hard to find the main forum discussing such activities on the net. I often pop in for a good laugh at all the moaners that have been free loading for X years finally getting locked out for good.

Well i am a scouser :D, but those days are over thanks to a shiny new little red card. Before any one starts pointing the finger i did pay for for every channel i watched and locked all channels i shouldnt and payed full whack its just i needed a smaller cable box to fit the unit i built under my tv in the chimney breast. i now have a V+HD box and pay less for more channels than i used to get as i negotiated with virgin (20mb broadband, xl tv pack and meduim phone pack including line rental for £45 per month plus one off payment of £49 for the samsung V+HD box).
