I think i am the only person to have liked the menu system
Along with the less traditional Rally races as lets face it, almost every rally game has been mainly A to B rally so its nice to have something different. Although maybe they shouldn't have put Colin Mcrae name to it. But Gatecrasher sucks ass 
Woulda preferred Grid 2, but F1 2010 will be awesome
While I'd love to see a proper sequel to Richard Burns Rally, the only rally game worth mentioning when speaking about rally games, I liked Dirt 2 too for what it was. Pretty good handling for casual keyboard driving for those moments you don't want to spend two minutes to install the wheel properly.
If there's one thing I want fixed in Dirt 3, it's the menu system. There's almost nothing I hate more than spending five seconds waiting for the next submenu to animate itself. It's a clear design flaw in an arcade driving game if you spend more time in the menus waiting for things to happen than actually driving the game. Dirt 2 menu system should be used in schools to demonstrate how to NOT do menus in whatever game or software you might be planning to do in the future. The worst menus of all time. That includes every C64 and Amiga game I played years and years ago as well as all the hundreds of PC games I've played.

OMG 2011 thats not good
Its an RS200, its in Dirt 2.
I wish people would stop complaining that these arent proper rally games. Its because there not meant to be! They are arcady fun pick up and play dirt track based racers. They are not RAC Rally 2010 like some people want them to be.
Its a great shame that proper rally games died years ago, but dont complain that Dirt isnt rally when its never tried to be.

Yeah, it's using the updated EGO engine, v2, which is being used in F1 2010 for the first time. Apparently one of the most advanced weather systems in a racing game to date! Looks set to be epic. As does Grid 2 I hope!
That's always a good one. "One of the most advanced" in a field with maybe ten different engines that have weather system worth mentioning
Would be nice to see a weather system in a racing genre engine to top GP4 weather system. I'm not convinced F1 2010 can do that but maybe the demo.. oh, wait, no demo. Grumble.
