I can understand the Islanders adoration of Prince Philip, he is indeed a very special man. A legend in his own lifetime if you will, I'm not sure young Marc quite measures up but good on him for doing his bit.

I dont see the issue, the number of people that worship talentless people such as paris hilton in the west. I think that they indigenous people of the area have chosen a worthwhile person to worship. The amount him and his with have done which goes unrecognised is surprising.

I think you may be misunderstanding me, I'm not saying that the Islanders should not worship Prince Philip - quite the reverse, if they're going to worship anyone then it might as well be him. I was however commenting that young Marc may not quite live up to the great man but at least he tried.
