How is it performance wise and what sort of AA settings are u using? I think half the ROPs are maybe affecting my framerates, just wondering how the gtx460 would compare against the 5850

Running 6x AA everything else set to max and it runs pretty smoothly. I get the odd bit of jerkiness when in a graphically intensive area but there are'nt that many of those in the game. Still can't get it working though after the latest patches. Keep getting the SBHH error. Tried re-installing with no joy. Look's like one of the last three patches broke something as there are quite a few with the same error on various forums.

That is good to hear! I shall deffo be getting the HIS 5850. Hmm not heard of that error before, Maybe attempt integrify the cache?

Yup.

I just ordered myself a second HD5850 for £210. I bought my first one from another retailer on special offer 6 months ago.... for £210. Between then and now, the cheapest I could find them was around £230-240.

Tried that yesterday. Actually got it to work again now. It turns out that it does'nt like my new soundcard, to be specific, the pretend EAX 5.0 thingy. Turned that off to see if it made any difference and it worked. Yay.

Glad you sorted it,. Theres a good community site for lots of free reskins and add ons if you are not aware of it UKtrainsim, I am on there a lot and come next saturday I will be getting HIS 5850 turbo
