Hey guys,

I'm buying the Antec 300 whe i next get paid, and wondered what are the best LED fans to put intothe fron 120mm slots ?

Prefer blue, but i want them to be really quite and push a lot of air.

Also are the Tri-cool fans that come with the case any good or should i swap them out for something else ?

Infact is the case good at all ? Doesn't vibrate or anything like that ?

Case doesnt vibrate at all and the fans that come with it seem to be pretty good. They have 3 speed settings and on the lowest they are quiet and still push quite a bit of air. I have some green Akasa led fans in the front and they look great.

I thought it was a good case for the money when I had mine, but it was £35 then.
The Tri-cool fans that come with it are okay, they run off molex connectors
and they have three speed settings. As for your led fans, Enermax Clusters are quite good, but ocuk don't sell them.

The standard fans are pretty rubbish if I'm honest, they might be 3 speed but they're very loud for the air they shift.

I put Xigmatek White LED fans in mine, looks noice to me. :p

Was it easy to take out the 120mm & 140mm fans already installed i heard they are hard wired or something ?

And does anybody have a fan on the side panel if so does it make much difference to temps ?

I have had a 300 for a few years now.

The case is very good for the £35 that I paid.
I have plenty of hard drives and I bought a silencing kit (rubber washers, rubber pins for fans etc) to stop some vibrations.

The standard fans are fairly quiet on low but then I got a Noctua cpu hsf and it make me realise that the standard Antec fans are quite cheap and crappy.

I cannot have fans in the front, as I have graphics card power cables in the way. The case has poor cable management as I have a high end corsair psu that isn't modular (my fault though I suppose).

The side fan just needs a dust filter on imo. The front dust filter is a nice touch.

Overall, a nice case, but get plenty of hard drives and it will make vibration noises (the 140mm fan on low was the worst culprit for me, but then I really do like a quiet pc).

My opinion: If you have a modular psu, then go for it. If your psu is not modular then you need to spend ages on cable management and the case will require modding to provide good cable management.

Sharkoon is gonna be exhaust at the back
140mm will replace the top fan and the other two will go into the front :)

I don't think those fans you are going to put in the front have led's.
Just because in your first post you said you wanted them, wouldn't be much fun if you ordered the wrong thing mate.

You're spending £50 on a case and £30 on fans, I would just get a £80 case tbh.

Something like THIS

if you still want some lights spend a few more quid and get some cold cathodes.
