I'm looking for an internet radio player for OS X - I know about the BBC radio gadget that sits on the dashboard but I don't find that very reliable. I'd rather have a proper application which allows me to edit the list of radio stations, search by genre and even schedule and record programmes (although this bit isn't essential).

It'd be nice if it even looks like a wireless!

Does anyone know of such an application? It doesn't need to be freeware, I'll happily pay for something decent.

I found using the widget with realplayer 10 stable. For some reason rp 11 stops the widget working when the dashboard isn't visible.

Let us know what you find Feek.

yeah also interested in your findings - cheers feek :) I have downloaded a few in the past but as I recall all the good ones were american :(

I have Spotify, but it's not what I was looking for - Radioshift is doing the job nicely, it's a shame it's not skinned to look like an actual wireless set but it works well.

Can any of these play the BBC radio stations? I couldn't seem to find any of the BBC stations, let along get RadioShift to play them. I didn't install any of the plug-ins though (and partly refuse to if I don't have too).

yea radioshift plays them all, BBC stations that is but yes you need the plug ins

That's lame. Which one? I really don't want to install flip4mac. Surely if VLC and FStream can play them without a plugin, then RadioShift should be able too aswell?
