I wonder how you would feel if your woken up late at night whilst sleeping with these supercars roaring past??...

I had this issue myself a few weeks ago...some young asian guy got a bew lambo Gallardo...good for him i suppose but having him sit at 1-2am in the petrol station across my house and rev his engine like crazy was not something i appreciated...i had to get the police involved as its a residential area and people with families are trying to sleep...normally i dont have an issue with supercars because i love them just as much as the next person but **** me 2am in the morning while im sleeping and have to be up next day at 7am is not something im going to sit back and take.

No it's not especially in town, in residential areas and at night. People have a right not to be disturbed by these fools showing off. The place for showing off these cars is on a track or a run in the country.

I presume you’d like to have one revving up or racing outside your bedroom in the night. You wouldn’t unless you were deaf. I’ve heard the racers and it’s awful. I’m surprised that one of these cars hasn’t yet had an accident with a brick but it's not that kind of area.

I see, well when you have given a minimum of 500k for a 1 bedroom flat up to 9-10 mil for a house in that area see if you like that sound at 1am, amplified as it is because of the type of streets and squares round there.

Well I hear loud peds at night which is annoying - chavs, though a lambo must be quite loud but I'm a fan :)
 
Guy living on the same street as me has a Lotus Esprit and a Lamborghini Gallardo, nowt worse than him going to work at 5:30am on a Monday morning, i'm a great lover of supercars but not when i still want to be asleep.

that lambo sounds fantastic in the video there.. but i can totally see why it would drive you nuts, way too loud for early morning .

I rememberbo a mate having an import ctr with some ridiculous exhaust that used to set the car alarms off as he drove off down a small residential street, replacing that with a lambo would be stupidly loud !
 
I can well understand their frustration, I love super cars as much as anyone here, but ...not in the middle of the night when I am trying to sleep. I'm a light sleeper myself, my neighbour going out at 5am every morning in his diesel Jeep Cherokee often wakes me up, so this would just be unbearable.

Mind you I could do with some better windows really. I guess if I didn't waste so much money on cars I could have bought some amazing ones, for the whole house ...twice.
 
If you live in knightsbridge you aint even having double glazing very easy with the planning regulations round there.
 
They should all be given section 59s, dont see the need for a petition when the necessary laws are already in place. Get on to the Police to deal with it.
 
Completely understand where they're coming from. Personally people who drive like that or have stupidly loud exhausts are tossers in my view. Absolutely fair play if you have a car that makes a racket at the top of the rev range but there's no need for driving like that.
 
You need to see these pricks to really appreciate it.

Bouncing off the rev limiter in 1st between the speed bumps, its a very special sight.
