Only a few months ago I bought my LG 23" LCD, 60hz, 2ms 1920 x 1080. I love it.
Now I have a dilemma. I play quakelive a lot and loads of quakers swear by 120hz crts for much better aim. Considerably better aim apparently because of the 120hz refresh rate for a smoother experience. I read about someone who went from a 120hz LG CRT to a Samsung 20" 60hz which made his very good aim become average.
For me to sell the LG and still spend a shedload of money on the Acer for the sake of double refresh rate, well, I don't know if it's worth it? What's annoying is that I took my perfectly working phillips 19" 120hz CRT and left it at a rubbish dump when I bought this LCD.

Also, I read an article on a forum that talks about true 120hz and I'm not even sure if the acer is true 120hz. Here's a paragraph from it:
"Regarding all 60hz Displays and Current 120hz LCD HDTV Displays
If the primary application of your display is gaming, I suggest against purchasing a 120hz[HDTV]. The benefit of 120hz technology in 120hz LCD HDTVs will not be utilized in gaming applications. The reason for this is, a 120hz LCD HDTV refreshes at 120hz, although, it will only accept a 60hz or lower input[even if they did accept 120hz inputs, it would simply render it at 60hz and double the frames; 60hz x2=120 instead of TRUE 120hz. In other words, 120hz LCD HDTVs are not TRUE 120hz displays]. Consequently, even if you are gaming at above 120 frames per second, you will not gain the benefit of seeing those additional frames. "
