If you won the lottery where would you live ?

I'd have a place in West Sussex still I think. Findon Village in Worthing is lovely as is Findon Valley and High Salvington. Though I'd also have a pad somewhere else, maybe America or another part of the U.K.

I don't doubt that, but I don't really need a massive house. As long as I can get a big kitchen, a temperature controlled area for wine storage, a brewing room and a large living room/entertainment room then I'd be happy. All that you can get into a large flat no bother (or maybe buy two and knock through). I don't need a 8 bedroomed house with a 4 car garage!

Yeah same here, I wouldn't want a massive pad. My main requirement would be a large plot of land with the house. I'd spend much more time out there.

I would love a big garage though.

Yea Beverley Hills is horrible. Full of homeless people routing through garbage cans, and about 6 good shops on Rodeo drive. Litter everywhere, and full of wierdo failed actors who are so desperate they're - I dunno - dressing like in a huge bee* costume everyday and going round the streets saying to randomers 'Hi, I'm BUUUZZZZING for some acting work - take my card - oh god please take my card'.

:/

* or elvis, or a ghost, or maralyn monroe, or ANYTHING to PLEASE GET ATTENTION :/

Canada. Probably somewhere along the sunshine coast of BC. Miles away from the next house on a large plot of land with a smallholding, living the good life. :)

Right I don't normally post stuff like this but I'm sat here on a Sunday trying to program a Thermal Transfer printer do things it isn't designed to do and not getting paid for it, I found myself staring at my screen and day-dreaming about were I would live if I won Millions on the Lottery, so I thought I would find out what you oik's would do too...

I would spend my life split 50/50 with appartments in London and New York, I just love big cities and those are my favourites. The New York one would have to be high up in the edge of Central Park.

Cheers
Jon.

How many millions? Cos 2 or 3 won't last that long if you are buying apartments in London and New York and then buying the flights over there?

I'd stay where I am and get a larger house and then invest the money to make more millions.

Then i'd still probably stay in the area.

Whistler (BC, Canada). I love it there :D
With a second home in California, probably up by Tahoe. As I love it there too .

When I've graduated and got a bit of experience I plan on moving to Canada... though that'll be to work in Vancouver rather than being a lady of leisure!

How are you going to get residency in America with 'only' a lottery win?

I hadn't thought that far ahead :D. I'm sure there would be a way if you had enough cash.
