old news, the sun only has a few billion odd years left, i knew this years ago so it makes common sense we have to move to another planet, the only thing is there might never be any sunlight so what would happen to us in that case?
we would need artificial lights growing all our plant food on either HUGE dome sized garden or colonies, or live in massive massive ships with all our food grown like this.i find it doubtful everyone will be saved, as if current earth population trends is anything to go by u can bet ur ass it will be the rich who go into pace and the poor who build the machines to get them there.there are so many small things like this that impede our progress, before we even think about going into space we need to sort out ourselves first and evolve away from all our problems.
the problem is making it until we are advanced enough to actually do this, with the amount of scumbags, corruption,starvation,selfishness going on in this world why the hell would we export it? sometimes i think we should never be allowed to colonize space unless we change ourselves and attitudes before we venture into open space.
hell can u imagine aliens finding out about us? hell if i was an alien right now id probably read the sun newspaper and decide to hit the red button to obliterate us all.
ps the sun will explode with such force there will literally be milkyway splattered everywhere

No. Common sense says that the Sun will outlive our species. We'll be long extinct before the Sun bows out.
Common sense would tell you that we are not a normal species and any previous evidence does not apply to us. The future is unknown and we are walking a path no other species has.
perhaps thats the gamble, reach space before your wiped out, a part of me wants to agree with you, but we do have a long time as well. saying life will be gone by then is a huge gamble, then again it only takes one mega disaster to throw us back 2,000 years, which is another problem even if it did in 2000 years we are back where we started with about a billion odd years left to again rebuild and get our ships into space.

well someone will be treated how you've always treated them. if you treat them like a slave from day 1 they will continue in that vein.

How do you tell the difference between a clone and a "proper human" (by which I assume you mean born rather than grown).
You wouldn't be able to tell. Unless you marked the Clone.
That will probably be a problem in the future, a War between Real Humans vs clones.

It will be like the film AI, except instead of robots it will be clones.
I've seen moon it's a crappy film and it doesn't apply as you can't just copy paste a whole brain full of knowledge.
