Looking for some as per title, I had some shure ones which I managed to get for a steal from our jersey based friends for about 30 quid.

Now I've looked and you can't get them for that price anymore :(

Whats the best I can get fro around 30 quid?

A little over budget, but Ultimate Ears Superfi 5 can be had for ~£38 delivered. They're meant to be decent IEMs, and although not the bassiest they are quite well reviewed. Have a look over at Head-Fi for some detailed reviews and opinions if you're interested.

They have an RRP of ~£130 IIRC, and compare quite well to other earphones with a similar RRP.

I have a pair on order which will be replaceing my awful Sony MDR-EX85s.

are they the logitech ones?

I had a pair of Ultimate Ears super.fi 5Pro. Great pair of headphones, good quality and sounded great. I'm sure the Super.fi 5 would be just as good, although as said above the bass is not quite as good as the Pro version. i haven't seen any for that price though.

They're not the same as the discounted ones in the Sound City forum, if that's what you're alluding to? Which is a shame that they're not at that price!

Still, the SuperFi 5s are meant to be pretty good, and a deal at ~£38. :)

I love my ultimate ears headphones - I'd always pick them any day over the tat you can find on the high street. But of course it's subjective so see if you can get to a shop with a decent range to try out, although I don't think I've ever seen UEs on the high street.

Just received my UE Superfi 5s. They're really quite good.

The trouble I used to have with my other earphones (Sony MDR-EX85s, which were well regarded) was that they were far, far too bassy. I used to have to have the EQ on my MP3 player set to minimum bass and maximum treble, and they were still far too bassy for my liking. The Superfi 5s are nowhere near as bassy at the same setting as the Sonys, and can be set perfectly with the EQ.

I don't have much experience with IEMs, so can't really say what they compare to apart from my Sonys, which are utter pap compared to the 5s. They still sound like in-ears, so they're no miracle IEM, but at the price they're really good.
