It's been pretty tasty in Brighton. There's a lot of scorched lawns near where I live.

Awful UK summer.

I just got to Sydney, where it is winter, and it's been 20-22 degrees every day.

I look on the BBC and London has 19 degrees and rain in summer

This is typical trend.. Amazingly hot at the start, May time, then tails off towards the end.. August.

I hope it's good for leeds festival.

Think we all got really excited when it got warm after such a long and awful winter.

I really hope this winter isn't as bad, can't imagine sleeping in a field will be much fun at -10

We had unbearable heat everyday for about 6 weeks up here hence why we are still in a hosepipe ban despite it raining pretty much everyday for the whole of July.

It's just generally cloudy in newcastle... today it's a bit sunny.. but windy.

I'm not really fussed, it's not like I'd be doing much in the sunshine anyway.

Overall its not been too bad imo!

June and July were VERY hot, August so far has been quite damp and humid which sucks, but at least its not too Windy

I hate wind.

Im sorry but the UK weather has been absolutely gash since May.

Its been grey with a high chance of rain at least 6 days out of 7, and the temperatures are bordering on ridiculously cold.

I was thinking of getting a holiday in Finland to warm up and soak up some rays.

Im starting to think that something is badly wrong... All the inland Euro countries are getting hotter and hotter, and we are getting colder and colder.

Is the Gulf stream on its way out??

Up here in Costa Del Hartlepool its been one grey cloudy mess . A lovely blazing end to the spring but since then it has been quite ****. About 1/4 days we've had sun, meh.

It's only been in the past week or so that the weather has been anything less than sunny very regularly here and even then it's still been pretty warm in London.

Im sorry but the UK weather has been absolutely gash since May.

It depends where you are obviously as London has been very warm as attested to by a number of people. London's not the UK by itself but then equally you can't say that (all) UK weather has been bad when it clearly hasn't been in places.

It's been hell, not being able to deal with heat is a really arse in summer. Roll on the long, cold nights of winter.
