It's been pretty tasty in Brighton. There's a lot of scorched lawns near where I live.

Prepare to go on holiday (whilst moaning about sorting stuff out).
Whilst on holiday, discover UK is hotter and moan.
Return from holiday and moan about it being too hot.
Moan through August/Sept as it's not rained and plants/flowers/grass/gerbils are suffering.
Moan at the end of Sept as it's starting to cool down.
Moan from Oct-Apr as it's too cold and they can't wait for the summer again and for lots of warmth.
Summer hits with 30+ temps 90% of time.
Repeat.
It's been very good in West Sussex for the most part.
I've literally been living in shorts for 6 weeks all bar 3 days!
