Maybe an idea for a new thread, Pick a car that you love for ridiculous reasons, I'm not talking supercars that you'll never own, but things that are within your grasp if it weren't for practicality or being a total money pit! Be interesting to see what everyone is hankering after if you removed logic from the buying process:D

I'll start off, pics would be great too if you find any...

Chevrolet Day Van

One of these was a taxi on holiday about 10 years ago. I love the look of it and the swivel chairs in the middle! So comfy! Its ridiculous but if it wasn't for things like fuel economy I'd love to take one on a tour round Europe or America...

Land rover defender

I love the old school looks and general ruggedness and would like to try an off roading session or 2 but alas I have no real need for something like this.
 
if it weren't for the fact that they are the best way of turning fuel into noise without much to show in the way of bhp i'd love a RX7 FC cab

Same, but my bigger problem would be the fact its not that comfortable to sleep in, which i'd have to do, after selling my house.

I can't think of a good reason not to get one tbh, other than the fact everyone thinks they are stupid. That doesn't bother me much though.

300C. It's probably awful in every single way bar the engine (SRT8 perrlease) but there is something about it.

I see a black one driving around Stafford with the registration '50 CT', I kid you not, gets a LOL every time.
There's one for sale at a dealer in Penkridge, been there a couple of months now, wonder why he can't sell it :p

Completely pointless but also highly awesome at the same time. I'm sure it'd break lots and would drink fuel, but so worth it.
 
A volkswagon caddy. I've absolutely no need for a pickup, nevermind a 20 year old rust heap. Still want one though.

This, and a MK2 RS - I think it seems brilliant in every way, it just doesn't make sense - so much better, more sensible cars for the money.
