Call of Duty: Black Ops - Multiplayer Teaser

In addition, hugley dissapointed with what this game is turning out to be. I actually had some hope that this game would bring abck the glory of UI and Cod2.
 
i like COD MW2. Sure its a bit laggy etc but its good fun.

COD makers saying they spoending their biggest ever marketing budget on Black Ops. thing is ive barely heard of it so far and well MW2 is pretty good, do i need a diversion into black ops?

probably not. does this mean there will be a huge marketing waste on this game, imo yes
 
Looking at the video it’s pretty much what I thought it would be, MW2 with new maps and guns, plus a few add-ons.

The RC car etc all looks stupid, sure it may be a laugh to use once or twice but after that it just becomes annoying.

CoD need less of the little gimmicks, and instead concentrate on putting out a solid game with a gameplay that can stick the test of time, which is still fun to play but not full of stupid gimmicks. Whilst allowing the average player to have fun but allowing room for the more experience players to do their thing.

CoD 2 was good, not overly complicated, allowing for a clean straight forward game play, that the more experience player could move forward in but also the casual player could have fun. Id like to see an up to date CoD 2 graphics wise but keep the core game play very similar.

But this won't happen, they obviously like the one game a year. Once many many people have bought it and /or moaned about it there will be another new promising game to buy and/ or moan about. Not sure how many years they can keep this cycle going for.

Just my feelings.

This is me too.

I bought MW2 despite my reservations and I've played it for a grand total of about 15 hours. It killed the franchise for me, and I wont be buying any further instalments unless it can dramatically increase its quality.

Not really, yeah maybe what is the point of any game that is very similar to COD but not others Battlefield isn't like that, nethier are any other games that aren't shooters, I wouldn't say a game like Left 4 Dead 2 was either. When I play Left 4 Dead 2 I'm working with a team, having fun and teammates usually protect others, you might die once or not at all during one level of 20mins+, you can't camp and you can't go rogue, players don't get ****ed off when they die usually and there not constantly worried about there K/D ratio :p

COD ruins so many young kids heads, it makes people into there 20's squeel like babies because they got killed :rolleyes: boohoo , IMO games shouldn't record K/D ratio or anything similar because then people wouldn't care about it at the end of the day w/e the game type is it should be fun, COD doesn't fall under this category it just makes people mad and if you make a game that does this your doing something wrong.

If COD8 is still this same old crap it needs a boycott.

The reason that they keep making them is becasue people keep buying them. If its overpriced like MW2 then i will save my money.
 
It's still cool to hate COD then. :rolleyes:

Game looks ok and I'll probably buy. It'll have servers so is bound to be better than any FPS out there currently.

BFBC2 got boring very quickly imo.
 
mw was really really good fun

mw2 was fun for 10 mins but pretty poor really

this just looks like more of the same but with even more stupid gimmicks
the dolphin diving is enough alone to put me off, its the one thing that was wrong with battlefield 2 !
 
The problem is watch every Games Magazine and Website give it 10/10, despite the fact the majority of knowledgeable gamers realise differently but for the average joe they will assume a 10/10 game must be good...
 
Just pre-ordered my copy of COD:BO from a supermarket (not sure if it counts as a competitor or not) for £24 + 8% cash back through Quidco

I pre ordered StarCraft 2 in April for £23, but around 4 weeks before release I got an email saying they couldn't supply it for that price and the order was cancelled.

So I wouldn't get your hopes up to high at actually getting the game at that price.
