Why is Racism Unacceptable but Homophobia is Acceptable?

You can't choose your race.

You can choose your sexuality.

This beith the reason.

Been posting here 4 years been reading 6. This is by far, by an unimaginable distance the biggest load of **** I've read, and we've had some real donkeys post here in the past.

Next time think your posts through before spewing inane trash or expect to be ridiculed, over and over.

A serious question to the people posting so passionately about homosexuality not being a choice - Are you gay?

Just wondering because if not, then how can you be so sure about this point?

(I'm guessing it's due to something you've read)

Because they do not remember consciously choosing to be straight?

Do remember going "well i fancy men and women but I think I'll only boff women" or do you just not find men attractive?

Im straight but I force myself to be gay as it looks good on job applications.

Top tip, I'll use this to my advantage!

Thanks!

Anyway on subject I see Racism as when you direct a comment at someone but I don't see, when I say "Mum are we having a Chinky tonight" as racism, it's just slang like, Yank, Jap, Pom, Prawn, Brit etc.

Just wondering if people in here think that you are born a paedophile?

Or born to have sex with animals?

To a certain extent it is possibly true. Of course the major difference would be one of consent and harm. Homosexuality has consent and does no harm, paedophilia and bestiality both lack consent and do harm.

If homosexuality is genetic, how do they pass it on to future generation? :p

If it was simply genetic, it could be recessive. There would probably be several genes involved, so it could get very complicated.

Say it's only a matter of two genes, each of which can be either a straight version or a gay version. Your parents each have one copy of the gayness genes, so they're both straight. You'd have a 1 on 16 chance of getting a full house of gayness genes and being gay.

In reality, it would probably be much more complicated even if it is purely genetic. Particularly since that example is predicated on the obviously incorrect assumption that everyone is either 100% hetero or 100% homo, nothing in between.

Well as you're technically a woman to begin with, it's possible something happens in the womb (possibly combined wit genetics) that prevents part of your brain changing/forming as it should.

Lol. How many more serious explanations to a joke will there be I wonder?

To be serious about it however, there is probably no such thing as a Gay Gene, it in all likelihood will depend entirely on the genes responsible for hormonal response IMO.
