How much for a front wing replaced and a bumper repair on a 2002 XK8?

Anyone want to try a guess?

Depends whos doing the work but i'd say 8 hours labour at £100 an hour plus around £250 for the front wing and £150 for the "bumper repair".

So i'm going for around £1200 - £1400.

£1200? Is it going to one of the body shops in Deptford you mentioned in the other thread?

Yea its in my trusty place in Deptford.

The kid that reversed into me was having a driving lesson with his dad in a car park, so no insurance, but the dad is paying.

I got a mint second hand wing for 90 quid care of the Jag servicing place i use.

They are going to charge me a grand for the work, plus whatever the geometry check comes to.

All in im pleased with that, i know the job will be proper.

That's just unlucky / stupid. Take the kid to an empty car park. Half of what he's paying to fix your wing would have paid for all his lessons, theory, test. Or just paid £30 for a week to insure him. Some people!
