Duke Nukem Forever - now being made at Gearbox Software?

The tragedy of DNF (aside from the obvious) is that even if they ever do release the game, the insanely long build-up means it can only really be a disappointment. But I'm sure I'd enjoy it anyway. :p Still hope it does come out.
 
I wouldn't mind playing this if it was even half decent just like Quake 4 SP, Pray etc.

But to be honest I couldn't care less if Duke Nukem is released or not, I never played the first one :P

I'd either hope its going to be awesome and fun, or so bad it comes out the other side and is enjoyable again.

If its just a middle of the road shooter I'll be a sad panda :(

It'll be this. Just look at the glut of average shooters released in recent years, especially when given excellent heritage such as Soldier of Fortune.

If its' ever released, it'll be a huge disappointment. I'd love to think otherwise, but I dont. It'll sell like hotcakes, at least for a short while, until proper reviews from playing it are out.

Still only give it a 5% chance of ever being finished :p
 
I will laugh if DNF comes out, and it's actually the best shooter ever made. That would be awesome. We've not had anything like that in the history of the industry really.
 
It'll be a middle of the road shooter... but with DN's attitude and "unique" environments. That makes it at the very least worth it no matter how you go about things, I reckon.
