Im sure that they have a massive hatred of those who believe in god so its different.

1) God does not exist, i challenged god to a duel, he did not show up.
2) Homophobia is now acceptable, and as i have defeated god by default, i can make that statement.

If gay people tried to convert other people to being gay by preaching in the streets, or saying that it was ok to bomb people because they were straight, etc, etc... I imagine homophobia would be pretty acceptable.
