I have a G27 hooked up to a wheel stand pro which for me is the best way to own a wheel controller as it allows me the most versatility. Its easy to store away when not being used and only takes a minute to assemble when its time to game.

I have been looking around for some office racing "style" chairs and have found a site that is absolutely awesome. Most semi decent office chairs out there are around £150 - £300 depending on materials, quality and comfort. This site has several selections that I believe are ideal for gaming with your wheel and great when FPS'ing or just for general use.

I just thought some of you may be interested as I am in this type of chair.. these are what I have been after for a while.

Have a look...

I must admit im not really into driving games. but theres nothing like uisng a wheel in a game!! Spesh if you had a great set up like eyefinity, 5.1 speakers and one of them seats your talking about! I really hope this post doesnt get taken down cause of the outside link -_- nice post and link!

G25 and love it. The only problem with it is having to hook it up to the desk before the gaming sessions. Still, its worth it :D

rfactor2 should be out this year too!

I've only played NFS: Shift but would love to get into rfactor and other similar sims.

Does that wheel stand pro allow placement of the gearbox on the left?

Yes it does...Inside Sim Racing reviews the Wheel Stand Pro and preferred it over the Ren sport stand. The wheel stand pro has so much more versatility due to the fact that you can adjust the wheel angle. This allows you to use the stand while sitting in all different types of chairs.

I cannot fault the wheel stand pro, its really sturdy, easy to assemble and its great that you can just fold it up and put it away when you are done.

Why do they put a bar infront of the brake? just stupid

2 bars either sides of the pedals...how is that not better?

Your legs go either side of the bar. If they had dual bars like you suggested, both your legs would have to fit in between the bars thus making the whole thing wider, heavier and more expensive.

Agree the g25 is a must , also get a good office chair for comfort "i Have 2 in my computer room" also does TDU2 have gear control looking forward to that released also rfactor2 Nice one never New that.

Another G25 over here, awesome stuff and for only £130 here at Oc.

Once you've used a good wheel it feels wrong to play most driving games with a pad, don't think i'll ever go back now. My only beef is that the force feedback keeps destroying my desk :D
