Volvo Warranty - Transferable?

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a car that has a Volvo approved used car warranty attached to it as it was purchased from the dealer within the last few months.

Can this warranty be transferred to me? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thanks for the replies.

I've called my local Volvo main dealer & they have told me that the warranty is not transferable but the official Volvo documentation I can find says that I can.

It sounds like the dealer has been mis-informed, or so I hope!

I would have thought the warranty remains with the car and not the owner

Generally they are transferable but occasionally subject to an admin fee and almost always at the providers discretion.
