maybe you should check the desire thread. people from there seem to constantly praise its battery life. and less than 24h is pretty poor. is it up to date ?

Seems like a very good idea. Will be interested in this when/if it comes out.

I'd rather a PSN Store type application than throwing all the games into the Android Market though.

Like others I worry about the battery life seeing as it's part aimed at being a mini games console.

Obviously they could put a bigger battery in it but then it's likely to become a brick, but I hope they can pull it off

I'm not quite sure why this is going to succeed where the Go failed. Its still DD only which the market just isn't ready for yet. Too many games are not available digitally, new games do not have to be released digitally as Sony have left it up to publishers to decide etc.

This is from someone who has and loves a PSP Go.

Real dpad+buttons in a mobile phone = gaming awesomeness. I agree that some games are very good on touch screen devices but there are way too many games that really require proper dpad and buttons.

It's always good to have some competition, hopefully it'll drive the prices down.
