do you believe in heaven?

I don't believe in re incarnation to the point you pass on some sort of memory.

But I kind of imagine existing again.... but not again as you never pass on any existence.

I know what I mean.

But as for an actual club in the sky with some gates and a VIP guestlist.. nah

I guess in a literal sense you're right. I also take the 'after-life' to mean how people remember somebody else. They sort of live on via the thoughts/spoken word/etc. of others.

Well, that is always the case anyways as long as you share your life with people, someone is bound to remember you... Doesn't matter if you were a good person or the most evil person on the face of the planet, as long as your life has been shared with people...

Imagine hitler, he shared his life with pretty much the whole of europe with his evil ways, and until now, his name still remains :o

Whats the point livving a life then going to heaven to live another life.

IMO heaven doesnt sound like the place i wanna be man sounds like a place pretty boys n good boys hang out.

Ill be wanting to bust a nut every day in heaven if i cant get any birds up there.

If im not alowed to that allow it.

Not sure. On the one hand I find the idea of heaven/hell to be ridiculous. On the other hand, our understanding of science breaks down when you go pre-big bang......so who's to say some god didn't create the universe and the fact our universe is so ordered and works so precisely is evidence of his "programming"? Or maybe there's just infinite universes or dimensions and we just happen to be in the one where everything works. The truth is probably something else entirely....something beyond our understanding.

Do I believe in something made up, invented by a bunch of people? No.

Do I know if there is an afterlife, whatever it may be? No, I don't, and neither does anyone else.

"The Gods envy us. They envy us because we're mortal, because any moment might be our last. Everything is more beautiful because we're doomed. You will never be lovelier than you are now. We will never be here again"

"They claim their labors are to build a heaven, yet their heaven is populated by horrors. Perhaps the world is not made. Perhaps nothing is made. A clock without a craftsman. It's too late. Always has been, always will be. Too late."

Some quotes that might be related to the topic :p

I believe in heaven but I think it's a temporary thing. Eventually heaven and our reality get united into some sort of super-physical reality. Then bodily resurrection happens, which will be very cool.

I'm sure there's at least one guy here who has smoked enough "not so legal" stuff and managed to get a glimpse of heaven for a few minutes :o
