I believe its on until sunday evening at keele Uni..... tons of weird people running around in costumes?
 
It's called Cosplay. If I knew earlier I would have likely went. Just because I'm weird!

It's VERY popular in Japan. And looks fun dressing up as your favourite manga/anime character.

haha i heard about this! mate of mine left an exam only to be greeted by a Charizard crazy or what. Sadly i doubt that any of the people there would look like that Skillmaster :( . It is Stoke :p
 
I saw some cosplay guys on the way back from london on the train. They were dressed up as team rocket and were getting some weird looks from commuters. Made me laugh tho.
 
I remember one guy in college. Used to dress up as a different anime character each day. His best was Kisuke Urahara (Bleach) imo.

I can understand little jap girls dressign up as little jap cartoon girls, but western white chicks and blokes is just one step away from emo razerblade suicide.
 
LOL I hope to do cosplay one day, white people do it very well, if you look on dA ;) But I need to loose weight before I even think about making a costume xD

This guy sounds like a legend, although most people probably didn't see it that way. Anyway its not something i would do personally, but there are definatly some impressive results on the costumes!
