This is going to be a bit of an odd thread. I was in the kebab shop last night getting some chow because I was back late and too tired to cook. I often go there around the same sort of time and the high street usually has the same sort of number of people around, a bit more busy at the weekend, and there's usually a handful of people in the kebab shop around that time too. Last night it was empty, so I just made small talk with the guy that it was very quiet.
"Yeah, it's Friday 13th. It's always dead on Friday 13th; go look at the high street" he said. Sure enough the high street was nearly empty as well.
I don't remember any sports, films or anything on tv worth staying in for last night. People don't actually think like that and go and hide on Friday 13th do they?
