So I received an NIP today - 40 in a 30, at 1am on the A350 on the outskirts of Poole.


Ridiculous really, seeing as I was the only car on the road - the speed limit drops down to 30mph for quarter of a mile, then back up to 40mph - but then again, do the crime, pay the fine and all that :)


Obviously I'm not too keen on the points, what do you guys think the chances are that they'll offer me a course?
 
You killer.

Offer comes with nip, so no chance and you speed was to high for courses. Can't remember exactly. But think it's around 36 they change from course to prosecution.

Arse. Thought as much - ah well, I'm not going to lose sleep over it :)
 
I got one yesterday, gutted :(

Never seen a camera but really surprised I was speeding there.. let alone the 40 in a 30 it said >.<

Was really concious of the speed limit on the road at that time too!

I went on a course for 38 in a 30.

Is it your first offence westy?
 
Sweet Lord! ...it's the Destroyer or worlds! ...Bringer of the END TIMES!

I passed under a police camera setup on a bridge over the M42 last week, I was doing 80 indicated ...so whether I was actually speeding on their equipment and whether I will get a ticket I don't know. I've never had one before, so hopefully not ...it'd be a shame to break the trend. The only reason I even got to 80 was I had spend up slightly to pass a van I was sick of sitting behind.
