This is a list of all the shows CC have the rights to show. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_Of_Programmes_Broadcast_By_Comedy_Central

Here is what they actually show.

South Park
King of Queens
Everybody loves Raymond
Frasier
Two and A Half Men
Scrubs
Sex and The City

I do like these shows but want some more variaty in their line up. I want more British shows and more obscure comedies like Trailer Park Boys to be shown. I remember Paramount Comedy being better.

Why can't they show a different programme every 30 minutes instead of doing double bills then repeating the same show they showed earlier in the day?

Why can't they show new comedy shows instead of repeats from shows that ended several years ago.

EDIT: It would help if I read the title of the Wiki page lawlz.

Then yeah, that is a bit annoying actually. Didn't realise that CC UK had all the rights to those. The Wiki page says "...formerly or currently broadcast..." But I have never seen quite a lot of those shows on CC here? Unless they just took the list from the former 'Paramount Comedy'.

Yea sorry I didn't even look fully at the title of the page :p Just looked at the programme list first.

Thinking just briefly now, I think that list has just been copied and pasted from the old "Paramount Comedy" list. I remember seeing a number of those shows on Paramount Comedy ages ago. None of which are on Comedy Central anymore.

Shame.. is there a reason why they only show 3-4 programmes at a time? When ever I put CC on its always King of Queens, Everybody Loves Raymond or Two and A Half Men.

If they showed a different programme 1 after the other instead of double bills, I'd probably watch it more.

Just a thought but seeing as how there are now a lot of UK comedy programmes showing on Dave now (Men Behaving Badly, Red Dwarf, QI, Bottom, Black Books, etc) and its a largely free channel (on freeview anyway), surely CC want's to justify to it's subscribers it's fees so is showing programmes that are not shown in many other places.

(That said E4 shows loads of american TV)
