Think I better get saving - BOSS 302/302R sounding better by the day!

More of a case will I be able to get one as chances are they might all sell instantly. Depends how much a limited production run Ford make these and then its a case of do I got for a 302 or the Leguna Seca special edition.

I want the Leguna Seca but I don't want the tacky colouring and over-sized front lip. Plus Id like back seats too, but I want all the other options the Leguna Seca has, still guess wait and see what comes along. As no doubt Saleen and Roush will have something planned too. :)
 
If you can afford it, and you didnt, you would regret it forever!

Looks freaking mean in black and red!!!

The Americans are getting back in to the swing of it:D

Errr can you see the front lip on the above! It looks about 8" deep!

If you do get one though, I might finally come to a motors meet. You might need to get some raffle tickets for the amount of passenger rides wanted!

As guys are already pushing the stock 5.0l V8 Mustang already beyond 480BHP N/A. My thinking is Ford have done it maybe due to higher RPM redline or are just expecting these BOSS 302's to live much harder lifes or alternatively they are just making them supercharger/turbo friendly should anyone wish to aim for like 700-800BHP from one. :D

Must be some big power or big torque planned, or maybe they went forged to lighten rather than strengthen?

I think 1500kg is considered the new light now. :(

Pretty all fast modern cars weigh over 1500kg now.

For example:-
EVO X - 1550kg
BMW M3 - 1700kg
Audi RS4 - 1800kg

Generally the sub 1500kg stuff tends to be mega expensive Porsches and Ferrari's.

The new Mustang will sit between 1450-1600kg dependent on spec and what weight saving has been done, but still you can use these powerful cars on the road, not just the track. :)
