This needs reporting however before you do, you need to ensure what you are doing is 100% legal and that you have all the correct measures in place that could lead to any legal implications. It could end up as "two birds, one stone" for the police should anything be not quite above board where your own business is concerned.

yeah i read it differently.....i get the message that they will flash it for you so you can play your back up games, but they are not doing the backups and the cost of doing the flash is £25.

Of course you should have reported them, nothing wrong with chipping so that users £40 games aren't destroyed by the dvd drive as has happened in the past, but selling pirated games is unethical.

Under Nazi (UK) law you can't bypass copy protection mechanisms making all backups of video games illegal effectively.

Ins't back up only for computer software as well. Making music and films totally illegal and as you say computer software illegal if you have to circumvent copy protection.
