What's the difference between no and never?

We are very colourful. Garden waste in orange bags, plastic in white bags, the reset in a green boxes and small green containers for food.

No (One has recycled before but gets lazy so doesn't really make an effort or bother to carry on the practice.)

Yes.

We have 3 bins and they only collect the green (general waste) once a fortnight. So if we didn't separate the cans and plastic bottles the bin would be overflowing.

This. Our bin-men won't lift loose bin bags, and there's no way we'd squeeze two weeks of rubbish into our general waste bin.

We'd be back to our student days of filling up the neighbours bins.

What do you do with plastics? My landlord said to just check them away and last time I put them out the men just left them.

Most of the time the plastic, cardboard, tins and glass get put out for the recycling here - the council provides boxes, a bag for the paper/cardboard and a fairly regular collection so there's not much in the way of an excuse for me not to do it.

Exactly. We have the normal waste bins, paper and card, and glass and plastics bins, its easy as pie and there really is no excuse not to do it. I find that most of my waste goes into the latter two. I throw very little away.

To quote Mr Burns' view on recycling to sum it up;

Only PET bottle& beer bottles that cost money and beer crates, as you get money back for returning them.
