Anyone had those and if so, what did you think of them?

Their Senstanta tyre isnt available in our size (205/55/16), so im very tempted to try their Vredestein Ultrac.

Ive got the Sportrac 3 on the other golf, only bad thing to say is theyre more squealy than other tyres ive had.

Elite in Rainham somehow have Eagle F1s in our size tho, so its either those, KU31s or Vredesteins.

Do a quick search there are lots of threads on these, including some recent ones :)

I have had them, same size too, but found them very loud, but very good in dry and weather. I am now using verdestein ultrac cento. I dont know how loud the Eagle F1s are and would like to try them next, but i hated the noise from the ultracs, they have a V design, like the F1s, however the Ultrac Centos dont.
I have to change the fronts soon, so i may look at Continental Premium Contatc2 or the SportContact2 too.

I previously had the Sportracs too, and found them about the same as the Ultrac Centos, but not as good as the Ultracs.

well thats encouraging to hear. i think the sportracs are impressive, if the ultrac is better than its stay on the shortlist.

mileage wise, how long did the ultracs last?

thats the ultrac. its not a sessanta lol

i have done a search but no one has posted much info in depth about them and i was curious to hear what people's experiences were

Like i said, i found them excellent in the mondeo in both dry and wet weather, gripped very well, and progresive when pushing on, however the noise they made was too loud for me. I also had about 15,000 miles out of them too, where i got around 11,000 from the sportrac3s
