My 2 year old Reebok running shoes are done. The sole is completely battered and destroyed from off road running.

Looking at new shoes and want to be Asics as they always get rated highly as running shoes.

Tried the Asics Gel Kinsei 3 on at sportsdirect but they only had a size 9 and felt too tight. Couldn't really get a good feel for them being since they weren't my sizel...

About to order from their website... but before I do, anyone else got these shoes? Thoughts? Worth £105?

My other half swears by these, though I think the price is frankly insane, especially compared to similar shoes by other manufacturers. I wouldn't recommend them for off-road running too.

Cheap pair of Aasics £30 ones I say. I mean how long do these last? 500 miles is covered in no time if you're the person who can justify paying £105 for trainers than you probably use them a lot!

Don't want to pay for cheap ones. The Gel shoes I tried felt much better than the foam. I run 2-3(3-4 miles) times during the week with a 10 mile run on sunday.

I'm not a serious runner but I do enjoy it. I'd also wear these for gym use.

Ok fair enough. My mates into traithlons and he swears by Saucony trainers, if budget isn't so important i'd research these.

i've been through 2 pairs of Kinsei 2 in the past, and i'm currently running an average of 50 miles a week in these - and yes, they are worth the money.

however, unless they are suitable for your feet - as a proper gait analysis will tell you - then you're going to be: at best wasting your money, and at worst: putting yourself at risk of injury.
