I've started to get some kind've 'nemesis' at work for lack of a better word, the person really rubs me up the wrong way. Just really gets on my nerves, comes across as extremely arrogant and believes themselves to be really funny.

Does. My. Nut.

Any of you chaps have someone that really gets to you at work, or am I all alone? :(

I had a brace of 'em. Their names shall become characters of ridicule and ugliness when I'm a famous author!

Do you know what "nemesis" means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an 'orrible ****... me.

And to answer your question. Yes i work at alton towers*

Theres a girl in the office who is like stick thin, and shes forever going on about how fat she is, she even bought some of those "tummy flattener" pants so she could cover up her (non existent) wobbly bits. She keeps going on about needing to lose weight, and being that I am not stick thin it drives me nuts because not only does she have nothing to worry about, but also because I cant help but think if she thinks shes fat then I must be bloody massive (and i'm not) and shes secretly having a pop at me.

There are always going to be people you don't get on with at work, I've had a few but generally find most people ok.

I used to have these two morons that I had to work with. They had to do their parts before I could start mine. And they never did what they were supposed to so I always had to take over and finish the work myself.

Boss didn't want to do anything because they were "funny" guys and so nice to have around (despite the 3 hour lunches and, showing up at work hung over and not doing any work while there) so nothing was done.

I quit because of them. My workplace soon realised (a week later actually) that they had done something stupid and asked me to come back. I didn't but the guys got fired right after that ;)

Yeah I've got one. She's like 60 years old and is a die hard catholic. Whenever you hear something horrible on the news she always says "this is the sort of thing that tests your faith" and it makes me want to deck her.

I doubt she's trying to imply anything about you. Women like that just needs constant confirmation that they look good.
