Laing D5 or 2 x DDC's ?

...and they look poo ;)

Agreed but there are lots of nice mod kits for them, Bitspower and EK.

Personally I'd take the D5 over 2 DDC's as the flow rate is ridiculous when on max setting and it saves complicating your loop with 2 pumps, the only thing you wont get is redudancy if your pump fails. This is why having 2 pumps is nice, if one fails at least you have one to keep your rig ticking over.

To be honest why not go all out at get 2 D5's :p

Webbo - are you controlling the pump voltage through the aquaero or just the fans in your build. Was considering adding my ddc 18w to the 10w one in my loop atm, or just swapping in the 18w one, and voltage controlling according to temps...

When there aren't any fans a ddc 10w at 12v is noticeably noisy. :(

You can mod the 10W one into an 18w no?

The flowrate's only really high is you have very low restriction in your loop though as the D5 is a lower-pressure/higher-flow pump. For multi-block loops the DDC 18w will get better flowrates.
