I was referring to your comment about them being "stupid childish cartoons" when even a cursory knowledge of the subject shows that the large amount of it are not even aimed at children as an audience. A common position to be taken by people trolling to get a rise out of people who like the medium.

Yes, there's some weird **** in Japan, but I've been several times and I have to say I feel safer walking around in a big city there than I do over here.

Personally the weirdest things I find out there are those large (~2ft?) dolls they have and dress up ... personally I think they look scary.

Ah, but surely trolling is intentional? This sounds more like ignorance, though I can't see how expressing your (Ahleckz's) opinion in such an antagonistic way in a thread full of people who you'll clearly offend can be unintentional.

I remember watching Japanorama with Jonathan Ross, S3E02 looking it up (I would reccomend the show to anyone even mildy interested in Japanese culture), the episode featured a guy who had an entire house full of latex sex dolls. Was freaky as hell :p, the obvious moral issues aside, sleeping in a house like that would freak the hell out of me, imagine waking up to it lol.

What about the photo book of Beckii Cruel which is literally just pages and pages of pictures of her dressing up in different clothes with next to no writing at all, which is considered "normal" in Japan for girls to do when they're popular. You can lie to yourself and say "There's nothing wrong with a book of just pictures of a little girl in" but there's something extremely disturbing about that being a norm for adult men to buy and jack off over.

It's was a good documentary show, everyone knows Ross can be a bit of a noob, but he actually seems to be a fan of it, so it was entertaining to watch.

I don't think it was released on dvd unfortunately, which considering it had 3 series, is surprising.

The fact the the Japanese manager that she has, has concerns about pedophiles too says enough. She gets showered with gifts by near 30 year old men, photo books containing nothing but photos of her for said men and is basically stalked by some weird muppets too, you think this kind of behavior is considered "normal" for any country?

Im not saying its normal at all, but don't be fooled into thinking that its worse in japan then elsewhere. And that is where my point lies.

In fact (as stated elsewhere in the thread) rape and paedophilia related crimes are VERY low in japan. One of the lowest countries at all IIRC

Just because YOU think that everyone that looks at her pictures and videos over a certain age should be branded as a dirty old man/paedophile doesn't mean they actually are

It's probably because Asian men are the same size as Asian women so they can't really overpower anyone enough to rape them.

The other reason they're low in comparison to other countries I won't say, because it would cause me to get banned :D
