xbox gamerscore reverting back to 0?

as title says this what happens i turn it on play a game then i check my gamertag and its 0 points untill i reset it
i can play along a game get to achievements and i wont get them also and then i try and redo the level and i dont unlock the achievement.
any ideas?

lol well wrong i have a call of duty mw2 limited console why would i chip it from what i hear there pretty hard to come by...
gamerscore hacking na ive only got 20k from easy games like forza fifa etc etc

i log on to xbox live via pc and my scores are there and is ok (thank god)
 
this happened to me once a few years ago and I just deleted my profile and re-downloaded it and it seemed to solve the problem.

If you mean the 'Second Profile Glitches' then they've pretty much been stamped out. There are still Save Game hacks around, and a couple of working profile editors too.

Profile editors are the hardest to detect because if the user is smart, they will unlock the achievements in the order they'd get through a proper playthrough and do it slowly but surely over several days / weeks.

Saved games are generally easy to spot, as all the achievements will pop at once and generally out of order.
 
i have deleted profile and clear system cache and redownloaded profile so far so good but i have google this and this seems to be common

I heard of people hacking around and unlocking "vestigial" achievements that were left in the code but weren't active in the final game. D'oh!
 
You've been caught cheating with your gamerscore the xbox forums are full of posts like this one, and everyone of them say just what you do. But they only do it if its proven.

Well then I apologise for my presumption.
It does look like some kind of hacking has been done though, as everyone here is saying/asking, have you tried a gamerscore hack of some kind?
 
Well your profile is showing as 20K on Xbox.com and not at 0 with a Cheater zone - so you;ve not been reset.

But some of your achievements are questionable...

Crackdown in a day? Not to mention the odd way the achievements were actually obtained, seems a bit of a wacky order like Take Me To Your Supply Point being unlocked after you have all 800 orbs - even though you get that as your first achievement...

Oh - infact 3/1/2009 for you was a busy day!!

1250 on Crackdown
1000 on PES 8
1000 on Assasins Creed*
1000 on Left For Dead*
1000 on CoD 3*
Several hundred on The Orange Box

CoD3 is the worst... online achievements offline

* Assumed 3/1 - as played offline but in between Crackdown and PES 08 on your played list
