Can't get rid of old caravan!

my dads boat trailer is made from an old caravan chassis and is a quite a common death for many scrappy caravans. i would remove the body and sell on ebay as a chassis for either car/boat trailer.

Hi Guys,

Got a problem, have this old caravan (Elddis Breeze) and can't find anyone who will take it! Its pretty trashed inside must be 20 years old. No good for people to sleep in.

Had thoughts it would be great for sticking in a field to keep horse feed and the like in or scrap yards take it but no-one is interested!

Anyone had experience with getting rid of such a thing? Seems googling around its a common problem

Depending on your area, you could always call JNA Caravan recycling they accept vans and recycle them

Caravan chassis are far too wobbly and weak to make a decent load carrying trailer out of, give it some farmer for his chickens to live in.

cut the caravan off it and use the chassis as a basis for a flat bed trailer.

I'm not a million miles from W-S-M... I'm tempted by it to make into a trailer, but I have no tow bar! I think e-bay is your best bet.

They are only interested in cars because they deal with cutting people out of road traffic accidents. They would have no use for a caravan.
