This is the car park of the Audi dealership that my office backs onto.

Poor bloke probably only dropped it off an oil change, next morning it looked like that. Excuse crap phone pic, its a fair distance from the window.

There is, it doesn't show up on the pic, and the engines sat on the floor under the car, looks like the engine mountings melted.

Seems like a vandal attack to me. All the windows are smashed, that surely can't be related to an engine bay fire.

Well, if he didn't, it would be a wise precaution to have one done, as the additive package in modern oils, while tolerant of normal working temperature, can break down with extreme heat.

The new audi 'park assist' was going nuts because he left it parked so badly, eventually it overheated and boom..

Just check the OBC display, it probably still shows the error code "Err Code 0x0003: Parked so badly, owner needs to be confined to public transport"

The interior burnt as well, its totally gutted. I'd say the windows popped in the heat.

I had that call a couple of years ago. Dropped the car off for some work at a stealers, couple of hours later they called to say that there was a problem and could I come in to see them.

Turns out some t**t had revered into the back of my car damaging the rear bumper, and then did it again trying to straighten up and scratched the near side rear wing!

Would you have to claim off your own insurance for that or would the garage seeing as it was in their care? Also would you have to declare it?!
